GAMEPLAY
Fishy Ring is an Adventure RPG fishing game with Gacha elements (the good ones), where you gamble your Luck to get more fishing attempt and get your engagement ring back before your wedding.
In this game, you will find:
- 🎣Narration. Foil the fish king’s plans once and for all, finish this last adventure, and finally settle down with the woman you love...
- 📚Multiple endings, get that ring back, find another way, fail, succomb to the Fish King... Or something else?
- 🖼️Original gameboy graphics made with love and care!
- 👾Original game boy musics made with even more love and even more care!!
- 💰Several items obtainable to strategize your luck and money, and to learn more about the townfolks.

Oh, I saw this showcased at PIGD Sept 2025.
Looks like we’ve also met before that at Play Sorbonne since I tested Monster Care Simulator!
So charming! I found myself way more invested in the characters and dialogue than I expected. I'm looking forward to going for more endings. Thanks for making and sharing!

Yeah, happy to help! The main thing that comes to mind is not knowing what the items will do before you buy them. I bought the kid's drawing pretty late, which was a little disappointing since it was so helpful and I would have bought it earlier. The mirror was the real issue, though, since I basically had to save, buy it to figure out what it did, then reload before the save after finding out that the mirror gamble wasn't optional while fishing. Other than that, the walk to the fish king felt a little long, but not in a major way. Hope this is helpful!

What was the worst thing you experienced in the game?
The worst thing uh, well at first I did not understand that fishing was a timing based gameplay so I mashed A button to skip the fishing illustration.
I also disliked the path from the village to the Fish King since it wasn't a linear path, I had to move down several times and it was annoying.
