What ? You're gonna cry again ? You're such a crybaby. Just put your mask on and SMASH THAT PIÑATA !!! There's nothing to be afraid of, right ? And don't forget the rules of the game, you can only move with your mask on...

Happiñata is a first-person horror game inspired by the classic piñata game. Here’s a reminder of the rules: with a blindfold on, you must hit the piñata with a stick to destroy it.

Except this time, when you put the mask on, the world around you changes and your fears take form. As such, you can't keep your mask on all the time. Grab the sticks held by the kids around you, and don’t let the piñata touch you !

This game was made for Global Game Jam 2026, based on the theme “Mask”

Controls:

ZQSD to move around

Press E to put your mask on

Use left click to grab and smash your stick ! Don't forget, just like in the classic game, you can only smash with your mask on.
